1947 - Roy Rogers and Trigger
On the Old Spanish Trail features Roy Rogers as a cowboy turned bounty hunter aiming to settle his debts. Set against a Western backdrop, the 1947 film follows his journey, blending action and adventure as Rogers navigates various challenges in pursuit of his goals.
The Man from Utah

1934 - John Wayne.
After cowboy John Weston rides into town and singlehandedly shoots down several payroll bandits, the local marshal offers him a job as a special undercover agent, assigning him to investigate the suspicious activities at a rodeo in nearby Dalton.

1937 - Gene Autry.
Parker steals cattle from the cattlemen and blames it on the turpentiners. Then he incites the cattlemen to burn down the turpentiners trees. When Gene finds the rustled cattle he tries to kill him. Failing, he kills both Gene's father and Bayliss Baynam and has Gene arrested for Baynum's murder.
Lightning Bill

1934 - Jay Wilsey as Buffalo Bill Jr.
Landis kills Tom Ross but fails to get his money. Now he is after the Ross ranch for the money he knows is there. When he tries to evict Ross with gambling IOU's, Bill drives him away. With the Ross cowhands out after his rustlers, he finds the money. But Bill is right on his trail.
